The event took place at the Conference Hall of Al-Kafeel Super Specialty Hospital in collaboration with the Imam Hassan Center for Endocrinology and Diabetes, affiliated with the Karbala Directorate of Health.

It witnessed the participation of specialists from Karbala, Najaf, Muthanna, and Diwaniyah provinces. Dr. Ahmed Kanaan, a nuclear medicine specialist, elaborated on the workshop's significance, stating:

 "The workshop addressed endocrine diseases, emphasizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. These efforts aim to reduce surgical interventions or minimize their complications."

Dr. Kanaan further explained the incorporation of modern medical technologies in managing endocrine disorders, including interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and radioactive iodine therapy, alongside surgical treatments.
