Al-Kafeel Super Specialty Hospital in Karbala held a special ceremony to review the annual achievements and qualitative accomplishments of its Training and Continuing Education Division throughout 2025, highlighting significant progress in both academic and professional training pathways.
Dr. Salam Adel, Director of the Training and Continuing Education Division, stated that 2025 represented an exceptional milestone in the hospital’s educational and training journey, emphasizing the institution’s success in building effective links between academic education and practical clinical experience.
He explained that the hospital’s mission extends beyond the provision of medical services to include empowering emerging healthcare professionals. During the year, the hospital hosted 480 students in its summer training program and 241 graduates from various medical, administrative, and technical specialties to prepare them for professional practice.
The division also organized 24 specialized courses and workshops, benefiting 1,397 employees, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to investing in its workforce as a fundamental component of high-quality healthcare.
Dr. Adel added that the hospital contributed to the completion of 28 scientific research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including diploma, master’s, and doctoral studies. In addition, more than 800 students from public and private universities participated in scientific and field visits to the hospital.
Institutional cooperation was further strengthened through the signing of five cooperation agreements with leading universities and hospitals aimed at exchanging expertise and developing training curricula.
The ceremony concluded with the recognition of 44 outstanding employees and trainers, including graduates of the Administrative Development Academy, as well as members of the Code Blue Team, which is responsible for responding to emergency and life-threatening cases.
