A specialized spinal surgery team at Alkafeel Specialized Hospital in Karbala has successfully removed herniated discs and stabilized the spine in a distinguished surgical procedure.

Dr. Firas Attallah, a Lebanese spine surgeon, explained: "The patient, a 40-year-old male, came to us suffering from a herniation between the fourth and fifth vertebrae, causing severe pain in his back and right leg."

He continued: "The surgical procedure involved removing the herniated disc, cleaning the affected nerve area, decompressing the nerve, and stabilizing the vertebrae. The operation was successful, and the patient experienced immediate relief from pain, enabling him to resume his daily activities."
