A specialized medical team in spinal surgery at Alkafeel Hospital in Karbala announced the successful correction of a congenital scoliosis case for a 15-year-old female patient.
Dr. Omar Fawaz Al-Noori, a Lebanese spinal surgery specialist, stated in a press interview that the patient was suffering from congenital scoliosis, which had been diagnosed early in her life. She had previously undergone a series of corrective surgeries to address the condition.
Dr. Al-Noori explained, "We performed a final corrective surgery on her spine, allowing the patient to regain her natural posture and alignment, comparable to her peers." He confirmed the procedure's success, with the patient leaving the operating room in excellent health and stable vital signs.
