A specialized orthopedic and joint surgery team at Alkafeel Hospital has successfully performed a knee joint replacement for a 71-year-old patient from Diwaniyah suffering from advanced osteoarthritis in both knees.

Dr. Burair Al-Asadi stated in a press interview:
"The patient had been experiencing severe knee degeneration, which left him unable to move or carry out even the simplest daily activities."

Following a thorough evaluation, the medical team decided to proceed with a knee joint replacement surgery on the left knee.

Dr. Al-Asadi confirmed the success of the procedure, noting that the patient left the operating room in good health and will soon begin physical therapy to regain full mobility.
