A specialized medical team at Al-Kafeel Hospital successfully performed a total knee replacement surgery on a 66-year-old man from Najaf, utilizing advanced medical technologies.

Dr. Ihsan Al-Faraj, an orthopedic surgery specialist at the hospital, stated that the patient presented with severe knee pain that did not respond to conventional treatments.

"After providing the patient and his family with a thorough explanation of the procedure and its benefits, they agreed to proceed with the surgery," Dr. Al-Faraj explained. "We conducted all necessary preoperative assessments using the latest diagnostic technologies, and then carried out the surgery using a high-quality prosthetic joint from internationally recognized manufacturers."

He added that the procedure was successful, and the patient is expected to begin walking the following day, after which he will enter an intensive physical rehabilitation program.
