A specialized orthopedic surgical team at Alkafeel Hospital has successfully performed a minimally invasive procedure to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and a meniscal tear in a 35-year-old patient from Baghdad, following a sports-related injury.
Dr. Mohammed Saad Al-Hares, orthopedic and trauma surgery specialist at the hospital, stated, “We recently performed an ACL reconstruction combined with meniscal debridement using advanced arthroscopic techniques.”
He noted that the state-of-the-art medical technologies available at Alkafeel Hospital played a key role in the success of the operation. The patient was able to walk immediately after the procedure and has since begun a structured physical rehabilitation program to restore knee stability.
This achievement underscores Alkafeel Hospital’s continued excellence in providing advanced orthopedic care and its commitment to utilizing the latest medical technologies to ensure optimal outcomes for patients
