Alkafeel Hospital and Marina Private Hospital Sign MoU to Enhance Cooperation and Advance Iraq’s Healthcare Sector

As part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and exchange medical expertise, a delegation from Marina Private Hospital paid an official visit to Alkafeel Hospital, where they toured all hospital departments and met with its medical and administrative teams.
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at exchanging skills and knowledge between both parties to improve the quality of healthcare services provided to Iraqi citizens and to support the advancement of the country’s medical sector.
Dr. Aseel Naji Aziz, Director of Marina Private Hospital, stated that the visit included a comprehensive tour of the hospital’s facilities. “We signed an MoU to foster continuous collaboration across various medical and technical specialties to enhance the quality of work and healthcare services,” she said.
Aziz also noted that during the visit, the delegation became acquainted with Alkafeel Medical Supplies Import Company, a subsidiary of Alkafeel Hospital that provides hospitals across Iraq with medical devices and supplies sourced from globally certified manufacturers holding U.S. FDA approvals. “This partnership will enable Marina Private Hospital to procure equipment and supplies at reduced costs while ensuring a reliable and trusted source, which represents a significant achievement in meeting medical needs efficiently,” she added.
For his part, Dr. Jassim Al-Ibrahimi, CEO of Alkafeel Hospital, emphasized the importance of cooperation with Marina Private Hospital and extended an invitation for reciprocal visits to exchange expertise and learn about advanced programs. He highlighted that Alkafeel Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies in cardiology, corneal and cochlear implants, and speech and language rehabilitation, and that its subsidiary company ensures high-quality medical devices and supplies with a strong reputation for professionalism and reliability.
The visit concluded with a joint session to review administrative and technical programs. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued cooperation to develop Iraq’s healthcare sector, enhance the quality of services provided to citizens, and achieve a future of greater progress and innovation
