Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, has announced a significant breakthrough in the treatment of diabetic foot and burn patients through the adoption of Microsin technology. This technology has proven effective in treating a large number of patients suffering from diabetic foot conditions, burns, and wounds, reducing the need for limb amputations.
Dr. Ihsan Al-Faraj, a specialist in orthopedic surgery at the hospital, explained that Microsin technology is a new and innovative solution in the field of biotechnology. It functions as an efficient disinfectant and sanitizer capable of killing a wide range of viruses and microorganisms without any side effects on tissues. The technology has received certifications from TGA, GMP, FDA, CE, and ISO.
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Faraj highlighted the remarkable success achieved with this technology, stating that the hospital has treated approximately 9,000 cases of diabetic foot conditions with a success rate exceeding 85%. Many of the patients treated had reached the stage of limb amputation, but after the application of this technology, they experienced complete healing.
