Dr. Jumana Ahmed, a specialist in infertility treatment and in vitro fertilization (IVF) at Alkafeel Hospital, announced the continued success of IVF procedures and gender selection treatments at the hospital. She highlighted two recent cases: one involving a woman expecting her first child after eight years of infertility, and another in which a mother of five daughters is now expecting a baby boy.
“Our success rates in IVF and infertility treatments remain high due to the expertise of our medical team and the advanced technologies available in our center,” Dr. Ahmed stated.
She elaborated, “One of our recent successes involved a woman who had suffered from infertility for more than eight years. She underwent IVF using frozen embryos and is now three months pregnant. The fetus is developing normally, and the mother’s health is stable with no complications.”
Dr. Ahmed also discussed another case of a woman who already had five daughters and wished to have a son. “We performed a gender selection procedure using frozen embryos, and she is now two months pregnant with a male fetus. We are closely monitoring the pregnancy, and we look forward to the baby’s birth alongside the expectant parents.”
