A specialized orthopedic and joint surgery team at Alkafeel Hospital has successfully performed a total hip joint replacement for a 67-year-old patient from Babil.
Dr. Mustafa Waleed explained that the patient was suffering from a pathological fracture of the right femoral neck due to breast cancer metastasized to the bones.
